IAG Jobpod

The WEP Jobpod is an continuation of the highly successful West Euston Employment Outreach (IAG) Project.

It aims to improve the self-confidence and employability skills of specified target groups of disadvantaged and marginalised priority groups in Camden; by supporting them to become ‘job ready’ and to access training, employment, and volunteering opportunities:

  • Black, Asian, Minority Ethinc and Refugee (BAMER) groups

  • 18-24 year olds Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEETS)

  • Women

  • Those in Social Housing

  • Homeless people

The Jobpod delivers an intensive, client-centred Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) service to beneficiaries, providing structured, tailored, one-to-one support, and small group workshops.

The IAG sessions cover job readiness assessment; back to work planning – aspiration and motivation; confidence building: job search skills – CV development, job application support and interview skills.

The project is delivered by a dedicated (IAG qualified) project worker who provides outreach in various locations around Camden and facilitates training, volunteering, or work placement brokerage for project beneficiaries who are ‘job ready’.
